  • Drafting EPC contract for ASX listed mining company in relation to its mining facilities expansion in Cowal, New South Wales

Advising on financier/builder tie-in arrangements, subcontract agreements, access licences, consultant novation agreements, confidentiality and independent contractor arrangements

  • Preparing precedent subcontract template for international contractor

  • Advising property developer in relation to financing arrangements, including financier and builder tie-in arrangements

  • Drafting precedent supply and installation agreement for engineering contractor

  • Advising both property owners and contractors in relation to air space licences and other adjoining owner arrangements relating to construction activities

  • Drafting and negotiating fuel supply, freight services and other procurement documents for ASX-listed mining company

CONTRACTUAL DISPUTES & CLAIMS

Advising on disputes, contractual issues and claims, claims management, contract administration and CCA adjudications

Recent Representative Experience:

  • Advising major contractor on head contract matters, subcontractor and consultant payment claims and CCA adjudication process in relation to the Perth Children’s Hospital

  • Advising major contractor on CCA adjudication response in relation to Wheatstone project

  • Advising property developer on a range of contract claims and notices in relation to development of CBD office development

  • Advising waste infrastructure contractor in relation to contractual entitlements and liabilities under EPC contract

  • Advising residential property owners in relation to relating to the [insert] Building Complaints Commission and the Home Building Contracts Act 1991 (WA) and advising clients on legislation relating to the building and construction industry in Western Australia
