  • Drafting and negotiation of retail leases for South Shore Shopping Centre, South Perth and office leases for the related office tower

  • Construction and leasing of bulky goods retail premises to large national tenant including related access licence through Crown Land

  • Drafting and negotiating of cafe and office leases and communication infrastructure licensing in the David Malcolm Justice Centre, Perth

  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on ATM licenses for Broome Boulevard Shopping Centre

  • Deal structuring and drafting documentation for sublease of ‘high-rise’ cold storage facility

  • Negotiating CBD office lease terms for ASX-listed property company, as tenant

PURCHASE AND SALE OF PROPERTY

Advising on all forms of sale and lease back arrangements, bulk lot sales, options to sell or purchase, tenders and associated documentation

Recent Representative Experience:

  • Advising on acquisition of future land subdivision sites in Wattle Grove and Serpentine including drafting option and sale contract and undertaking due diligence in relation to the land

  • Advising on the acquisition and due diligence of a future development site in Northbridge

  • Drafting and negotiation of complex option arrangement and subsequent purchase contract for an existing retail property and future development site in Joondalup and preparation of associated documents including deeds of covenant with tenants and deed of covenant and assumption of development restrictions with the City of Joondalup

  • Advising international fund manager in relation to the structured sale of residential land development in Geraldton

  • Advising on the acquisition of future land subdivision at Brabham

  • Drafting investor loan agreement in relation to the acquisition of land at the ‘Claremont on the Park’ development

 

PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT

Advising on all forms of property development matters and associated documents including shareholder and JV arrangements, investment and project structuring documents and infrastructure, authority and developer funded work arrangements

Recent Representative Experience:

  • Acting for ASX-listed property developer in relation to construction of Perth CBD office development including negotiating interface arrangements with third party builders, leasing arrangements and operational documents with tenant and other stakeholders

  • Acting for property developer on preparation of development documentation including cost and infrastructure sharing arrangements for large-scale residential land development at Hammond Park

  • Acting for property developer on preparation of shareholder agreements and other equity investment arrangements concerning Bullsbrook development property

  • Acting for aged care provider on preparation of development documentation for Beaumaris Beach Aged Care Development including architect, development management and sales agent agreements

  • Advising property fund manager on development documentation for land subdivision in Geraldton
